IMarEST moves to Birdcage Walk

Published: 11/03/2016

In February 2016 the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) moved from Aldgate, East London, to the headquarter offices of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) at One Birdcage Walk, in the heart of Westminster.

IMarEST Chief Executive David Loosley, said in a statement to members: "Our proximity to the UK government and other relevant institutions – including the International Maritime Organisation, the Royal Society and the Royal Academy of Engineering – will not only benefit our existing partnership with these organisations but will also allow us to make fast-paced, proactive progress in a number of areas.

“We are thrilled to be sharing One Birdcage Walk with IMechE, and to be able to offer additional facilities to our members visiting the London HQ, including a dedicated members’ business centre, library and meeting rooms.”

IMarEST’s new address is:

1 Birdcage Walk
Westminster
London
SW1H 9JJ
