The Engineering Council is proud to be supporting Chartered Week, which takes place from 24 to 28 February 2025. This new national awareness initiative recognises the individuals, organisations and registrations that are enhancing competence and ethical standards.
The Engineering Council has been saddened to learn that Sir Colin Terry KBE CB DL FREng, past Chair of the Engineering Council and leader in the fields of engineering and aerospace, has passed away. He was a figure of immense respect within the engineering community.
To mark Women’s History Month, the Engineering Council is sharing the stories of history’s leading female engineers to inspire upcoming female engineering talent.
The Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) has given the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) formal approval to develop new Level 2 and Level 3 plumbing apprenticeship standards.
EngineeringUK, as part of its role to enable more young people from all backgrounds to be informed, inspired, and progress into engineering and technology, is able to appoint individuals to the Board of the Engineering Council.
